Neurabilities is Hiring an EEG Technician Near Farmingdale, NJ

Be an EEG Technician with our Wall Township team. A NeurAbilities EEG Technician earns a competitive rate and receives a generous benefit package.

What to Expect:

An EEG Technician performs routine high-density electroencephalography (HD-EEG) using the latest in non-invasive EEG technology to record electrical brain activity and detect abnormalities.

  • Competitive pay of $28-34/hour based on experience and location.

What You Will Do:

  • Performs routine Clinical and Dense Array EEG’s using EEG System 250 from Electrical Geodesics, Inc. (EGI).
  • Processes EEG data. 
  • Maintains EEG equipment, supplies, and office space. 
  • Develops and maintains positive and cooperative relationships with patients, families, and colleagues.

What You Will Bring to the Team:

  • High school diploma (or equivalent).
  • Certificate or diploma from an accredited EEG Tech program.
  • ABRET Registered preferred. 
  • Exceptional patient communication skills, particularly with pediatric and difficult patient populations. 
  • Proficient with MS Office and medical billing practices. 
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. 

Working Conditions and Physical Demands:

  • Ability to write, type, and operate a computer and telephone for hours at a time.
  • Ability to sit and stand for several hours at a time.
  • Ability to escort patients to an examination room.
